Well gentlemen, where has the summer gone?  Friday September 11th is our final week for team play of the season and it looks like there is going to be a great finish in both team and individual competition. 

 In the team competition Team Sergio has been in a slump for the past few week with not so great turnouts and some weekly match losses allowing Team Tiger to creep up with 11 points of the team overall lead.  If you are on Team Sergio or Team Tiger make sure you show up for the final week as the particpation points will play a very important role in determining the winner next week.  Good luck to both teams!!!!!

In the individual competition it is nice to see my name back on the top of the leaderboard with $76 and very closely followed by Ray Trudel, Ken Mitchell, Chad Deblock & Lyndon Blaney to round out the top 5 and guaranteeing a prize off the table.  We have thousands of dollars in value on the table this year.  Please remember that if you are not in the top 5 still have a chance at winning a prize.  Everybody, including the top 5 winners will recieve a ballot for every week played during the league and after the top 5 select their prize you will be able to place your ballots as you see fit for the prize you want to have a chance to win. 

Everyone in the top 25 has a great chance in making it into the top 5.  But you can't improve if you don't show next week so please make an effort to participate.

Please note that if you are unable to make the finale day you will still have your ballots and you can either trust the Proshop Staff or please ask a friend to put them in for you and you can still have a chance to win.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 12TH @ 9AM SHOTGUN IS OUR LEAGUE FINALE DAY!!!!
Scramble Format and Proshop is making the teams based on your Friday Night Handicap!!!!  Please call 519-449-5112 if your name is not on the sign up sheet and you are planning on attending!!!!  We need to know ASAP for organization purposes.  Meal & Prizes are to follow golf!!!!!  As requested at the opening meeting this will be a cash game!!!!  The cost is $20 CASH.  (Please Bring Cash Only As CashBack In The Proshop Will NOT Be Available, However The ATM Is Always Available) $5/person will go into a team skins game and the other $15 will make up the payout.  Top 3 Teams get paid 1st-50%, 2nd, 35%, 3rd, 15%.  Since I've posted this multiple times with no comments I'm assuming this is ok with everyone!!!! 

Please note that 5 day members of Burford are exempt to Green Fee Charges however if you are a players card holder an $18 Green Fee Will be charged in addition to the $20.

Onto the Weekly Winners......

The team game was very close this week with only 12 strokes difference between first and last place.  Congratulation to Team Villegas for picking up the victory and $10 for each team member that played this week.  Team Camillo has been creeping up in the standing in the last few weeks and out of the deep dark basement.  Way to go guys!!!!

Skins....
Well, there were no skins awarded this week which makes a $140 carry over into next week.  The more players that come out the more the skins pot will be for next week.  Good Luck next week!!!!

Closest To The Pins....
The closest to the pins were very close to the holes this week.  #11 was about 4 feet and #13 was about 2 feet.  Congratulations Ron Martin (thanks for getting it inside Ken) for the CD hole and yours truly for the AB. 

50/50....
Much to the dismay of Mr. Deblock, Congratulations to Mr. Daryl Alonzo for picking up $70 in this weeks 50/50 draw. 

Well gentlemen, lets make our participation for the final Men's night our best yet.
