Welcome to the Men's Golf League 2010 Season

Week 13 update

Jul 29, 2010 | Posted by Todd

Hi guys,

Poor weather has caused the majority of you to not play and post a score for this weeks leg of the mens night.  I had discussions with a few of you as to what happens in this case.  In reviewing the rules, last nights "league night" is cancelled, but you are given the option to play your round and post your score for this week at any time up until next Tuesday.  We had 36 guys post a score last night, so all we need is another 11 guys to come and play their make up round by next Tuesday for the week to count.  If we do not get that amount out, then the week is a wash.  You are free to make your tee times as you wish, as we are not logged up with tournaments in the coming weeks, so getting out will not be a problem, and of course, you will get the same rates.  Anyone that put money into skins, will be automatically put into the pot for next week, where we will start a fresh skins game.

See you all next week

This is not how the rule was applied last year in a similar situation. After much debate, the week was just considered a wash. I say, for consistency's sake, the rule should be applied the same.

Hi Todd--if you paid a green fee but got washed out after 6 holes, is there some sort of rain check policy for next weeks men's night? Just wondering--thanks.

Probably only 5 guys really care lol and they are all from the same group probably! i looked at the the rules sheet we got at the beginning of the year, it says if it is canceled due to weather and there was less than 50 percent of the field that plays, then you have until the following Monday or Tuesday? , beer leauge golf boys, give the staff a break for a change lol. seems to always be some sour puss bitchin about something on here

Just a question. If one plays before Tuesday to make up for the wash out for the Men's League does one replay all nine holes or just play the ones not completed?180 In my case I finished the first six holes but was chased off by the Monsoons before I could play seven, eight and nine.
