The Finals are set.

With the last week upon us in what has been a very successful season thus far it comes down to this.

 

In the battle for 7th and 8th spot we have:

Team 8 vs. Team 3

The battle for 5th and 6th will see:

Team 1 vs. Team 4

The battle for 3rd and 4th has:

Team 5 vs. Team 7

And in the Highly toutued match for 1st and second we have:

Team 2 vs. Team 6

Playoffs

Welcome to the Playoffs!

After a successful regular season that saw some good golf, some not so good golf, and some stuff I won't even classify as golf.....  we have the playoffs!

Here are the Matchups for week one based on the rankings at the end of the regular season;

Team 2 (1) vs. Team 8 (8)

Team1 (4) vs. Team 5 (5)

Team 3 (3) vs. Team 6 (6)

Team 7 (2) vs. Team 4 (7)

Tuning Up

With only one more week remaining before playoffs it seems as though most have their games going in the right direction heading into the playoffs. Even Mr. Ryan Shoemaker of team #3 managed to break 50 for the first time this season with an unbelievable score of 42.... with his 17 HDCP......... for a mind altering NET 25...  Sorry Folks, that is not a TYPO.]

There must have been a full moon on Tuesday or something with some of the scores that were posted, for the first time this season we had 4 players under par for men's night;

Ben Arnold came in with the low gross for the night with 32. Good shooting Ben! I see you figured out those Signature Rope Hooks.

Dave Kuehl and Mark Steven came in with an impressive pair of 33's for the night. Good job guys. Dave must have had someone else on the putter this week as I've seen him with the flat stick....and let me tell you, Ray Charles has a better chance at getting the ball in the hole.

Its hard to believe that shooting a remarkable net 32 this week left you on the outside looking in for the top 3 low net spots. When I saw the unthinkable score of Net 26 on the television last night the look on my face was priceless.... the look can only be described as, well..... waking up next to a fat girl with a mouth full of flour. 

I would just like to commend team 8 captain Mr. Mike Mercer for bringing Mr. Sim out to our men's league and would like to congratulate Bruce on a personal best score for 9 holes.....  let's not make a habbit of it!
