I would like to thank all the sponsors for the contributions this year. Next year is shaping up to be more exciting with the help of a men's night commitee. Anyone who is interested in helping out please contact Ralph Neil or myself. Thank you to all who participated and captained teams. You are what made our first year a success. I would like to recognize Mike Pengelly and Shawn Brown for the excellent work as captains. Both semi-final matches were tightly contested. The Thrashers beat Mac's Mulligans by four and Yellow Fusion snuck by the captainless Team Foreplay by a single shot. I'm sure Scott Johnstone is kicking himself down in Myrtle right now. Low net honours for the week went to Rick Brine with a unbelievable 29. Mike Pengelly shot a solid 35 gross to help his team to victory. I must mention the MOST USELESS BASTARD for the week because he was on my case the most after my poor nine the week before. Lutz Lindemann proved his worth with a net 44 to claim this weeks title. Great work Lutz. This week is the final men's night of the year. The Thrashers will face Yellow Fusion for 1st place and Mac's Mulligans go up against Team Foreplay for 3rd. There will also be individual prizes given out for anyone who plays. Dinner will be served between 5:30 and 8:00. There will also be a wrap up at the end of the night. It will be a great evening. NOTICE: Final Four participants can play any time Wednesday to count. There are no reserved tee times in the afternoon anymore. Play whenever you would like.

Next weeks matchups will determine the First Place and Third Place games for the final week. The Thrashers will play Mac's Mulligans and Yellow Fusion takes on Team Foreplay. Brandon Furness (36) rebounded nicely from his back to back 89's in the Syndicate Challenge to help his team move on. I would like to personally thank my playing partners from yesterday, Mike Pengelly, Scott Stanhope and Rob Howden, all of The Thrashers, for inspiring my play. I shot a solid 43. Feel free to stop by the shop and give me a little ribbing. I would also like to thank John Rutherford for his 48 net to keep me from being the Most Useless Bastard. Don't forget to sign up for the closing men's night on September 26th. Please invite any members that are thinking of signing up for next year. We will be looking for suggestions to make next years men's night even better.

The matchups for the second round of the playoffs are as follows. #1 The Thrashers vs. #8 Full Field, #2 Yellow Fusion vs. #7 Gray's Grinders, #3 Team Foreplay vs. #6 Gater's Gladiators and #4 The Wingmen vs. #5 Mac's Mulligans. The third round of the playoffs will have the highest seeded team against the lowest seeded team. Each match this week is an elimination match. Don't forget to sign up for the closing men's night on September the 26th. There will be beer, dinner and prizes. There is a $10 fee for the dinner.
