How 'bout them Snap Hookers!!??
Sep 16, 2011 | Posted by BP
Gee whiz they were good! 241!! They only missed winning by 3 touchdowns and 4 field goals.
Ted Scott can predict the future! This is how things work, as dictated by Ted. They count his score - the Eagle Maniacs lose. They don't count his score - they win! Ted didn't count last night, and the Eagle Maniacs won again!
Poles and Holes came up just slightly short of the win, but secured a solid second place win finishing 1 stroke ahead of the FOREnicators. Unfortunately it could be too little too late in the race for the Championship. They will have to win next week and hope that Captain Dietz's team catches a massive case of the flu if they have any hope. Fear not - second place will still be worth fighting for.
On the B side, SandBaker's crew pulled into the lead, ahead of the Hack and Slashers. However, anything can happen next week when the winner gets 34 points plus participation!
Kyle is on a roll. 34 yesterday was good enough for Low Gross, sneaking ahead of a few at 35. Kyle's Gross average for the year now sits at 35.92 - which is excellent golf.
Curtis Nichol and that nice juicy handicap tied for the low Net honours with half of the comedy duo we know as Tom and Jerry (Walker & Harrigan). Coach Harrigan can no longer pick on guys like Mr. Kopas for their sandbagging routine, since this is the second win in a month. If that's not fishy....
Speaking of Kopas.... OK, we believe you now. You can start scoring better any time now.
Rob Hollinger needs to go directly to Vegas. Here we are thinking that it's nice to see him win the 50/50 since he's had the goose-egg on the year so far. Then we find out that he won the 50/50 at the hockey game last week as well. Isn't there a rule somewhere that forfeits the second win back to the pot?
This is it boys - one more week. Your team needs you. Make sure you make it out and be prepared to play in whatever crap mother throws at us. Good Luck!

WOW - 31!!!
Sep 9, 2011 | Posted by BP
That's a new Men's Night Record - and a reason for a new section on the page! Kyle MacKenzie set the new Men's Night Course Record with a 31! That's unreal!
We have had a few instances where the Low Gross winner for the week was also the Low Net winner for the week, but never have we had it happen where the Low Net winner was a zero handicap! Gross 31 - Net 31 - that's excellent golf!
To be fair, there was a 3-way tie for the Low Net, Kyle shared the winnings with Sean Eaton and Delio Aguiar who also netted a 31. This is the first week we haven't added someone to the wall of shame in a while!
Kyle's 31 wasn't good enough to pull his team to victory, however. He was passed by his Father, and Sandbaker's team of Eagle Maniacs! This team has been hot and cold all year. Just when they look to be down and out they snap out of it and climb the standings.
Kyle's FOREnicators did manage a second place finish though, and Captain Dietz's team now has a stranglehold on the A side.
Check out the B Side standings! It is truly anybody's game. With only 2 more weeks to go it's going to come down to the wire.
Chris Hoffele won the big 50/50 pot this week!
Have you signed up for the Men's Closing tournament yet? We have 48 already signed up, so it's going to be a great day! Also, the Fall Scramble is filling up fast! Get your team in before the waiting list starts!
Have a great weekend guys!
