Week 1 of playoffs (3 more to go, not 2 as I may have said to some).

Little different this week.  The top team in each pool split the money.  So of course to make it complicated, there was a tie in the A side, therefore 3 teams split it.  So a rousing $3 was the payout!

The race for the championship has tightened up a bit.  Remember each week until the end the points increase by 30%!

Sister Erin fired one of the lowest nines of the year this week with a 38.  Impressive.

There was a tie for Low net - Mary Nickel and Judy Lawrence, both with net 30's.  Way to go ladies!

The three-way split of the money was the Pin Dancers, FOREplay, and the Ball Bashin Babes.  Although the payout was not the greatest, it got some people on the money list and something's better than nothing, right?!

The big winner this week was Jacqui Alexander.  Jacqui had the right idea to have someone pay for her 50/50 because she was going to be away.  Several of you have done so throughout the year, and this time it paid off for Jacqui.  Congrats!

We still need to remember to keep up the speed when playing.  Some of the morning groups are getting dreadfully slow.  You need to be turning in roughly 2 hours in order to have a turn time.  If you are really late, you will find someone on your tee, and that is your fault, not theirs.

Next week is Alzheimers.  So I hope that you have a team in.  We have 17 groups so far.  Also remember that we have pledge forms here.
