May 25, 2012 | Posted by SMGreat Work!!Well, well, well Ladies... Another fabulous week. Scores are getting lower, weather is getting hotter what more can we ask for?!?
This week I would like to congratulate Team FOREplay for being our first place team and Team Diamonds in the Rough for coming in second.
Ms. Kartina Klemp was our Low Gross Winner and Ms. Janet Andrews our Low Net! Great Job Ladies!!
Finally Carmen Martin was our 50/50 winner!
Gimme Putts... A little clarification for the season...
This year we are still doing gimme putts. If your ball lands with in the putter grip that is your gimme. PLEASE remember to count the stroke, I was guilty of forgetting last week... Thank you Lisa for reminding me :)
Keep up the great work ladies, although it is only week 2 there has been much improvement since last week!!

I don't know about any of you but I am sure glad that this week is over! Everyone did an amazing job for only the first week out!
Congratulations goes out to Cindy Mara's team Diamonds in the Rough and Katrina Klemp's FOREplay!
After erasing everyones worst score Katrina Klemp and Anne Stirling had the lowest score with a 36!
Finally Ms. Lisa Moore was out big 50/50 winner this week
Now for a little bit of house keeping....
Golf fore the Cure: As many of you know we lost one of our league members last year to cancer. This year we will be celebrating her birthday with the Golf fore the Cure event on June 26. This will be an all day event and all of the information was in your registration packages you received at the open house. There will be raffle prizes, draw prizes and much more with all the proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society. if you have any questions and/or suggestions please shoot me a message!
Year End: I know it is early to be talking about the year end banquet however there was a typo in the package... Last Tuesday of play will be September 18. Ladies Banquet will be on Sunday September 23 at 12pm Shotgun Start followed by the dinner and prizes at 4:30pm. A sign up will be posted once we get closer to the date)

Welcome back to another season!!! I think it is finally safe to say that spring is here, which means Ladies League is around the corner!
This year the Ladies League will be run by the – myself, Sarah Moniz, along with Brenden Parsons will be the League Committee members. We are looking forward to a great year and lots of FUN!
Registration date is set for Tuesday May 1, 2012 from 6-8pm. The joining fee will remain at $20 – used for banquet food and prizes at year-end. This fee can be paid after the meeting.
League play will begin on Tuesday May 15, 2012 (weather permitting) and will end on Tuesday September 9, 2012 followed by the scramble and banquet on Tuesday September 25, 2012.
Suggestions and comments for this year’s Ladies League are more than welcome. (What would you like to see differently this year? What did you enjoy about previous years? Games ideas?)
Please do not hesitate to contact me at the club or through email for anything at all. We are looking forward to a new year and would like your input to make it the best yet!
