Welcome to Carter's Men's League 2012!  This promises to be a great season.  We had a successful draft night (AKA Draught nite) last week where teams were assembled and a few pitchers were "disassembled".  There are a few changes this year designed to promote participation and friendly competion. Teams will play head to head each week like normal.  Team Bubba Long promises to be long but it's doubtful they can out distance team Driving Miss Boyko.  Things should be a breeze for team Easy Riders unless they end up in a dance competition with team Shank and the Chili Dippers.  Team Have You Seen My Balls?  Surely the Putt Pirates have!  Team Drawshank Redemption should prevail provided there's Nor Folking Bogeys out there.  

     The most noticible change this season is that Gambler's Corner has been replaced with a new all encompassing component where each player can participate in a side game on every hole!  $7 dollars will be collected on your chitt every week when you tee it up and you'll automatically be enrolled in the games.  There will be a sheet in the proshop where you can declare your intent to participate for the year (If you choose not to play the side games, sign under the "opt out" column).  There will also be prizes awarded to the team with the lowest score each week and at year end, prizes for individual participation.  Of course your $7 doesn't fund all the prizing.  We could not do this without the support of our generous sponsors.

     The pot on the 4' circle on hole 9 will be carried over from last year until someone wins it.  Once it's won, it's done. A NEW 4' circle pot will begin accumulating May 10th on hole 7.  

     On this web page you'll notice an active money list and other new features.  I encourage everyone to start the banter by blogging here, especially the captains.  GAME ON!!!!
