The Mens night shotgun will begin at 4:30 sharp. Even if you cannot participate in the shotgun please feel free to come and enjoy the complimentary dinner and watch the much anticipated SunLife Financial Shootout Under the Lights.

Shootout Postponed

Due to the weather forecast we have made the decision to postpone the end of the year SunLife Financial Shootout to next Wednesday Sept. 7th. The same will go for the end of the year banquet and final night festivities. This Wednesday will be a regular Mens night for those who still want to come out and play, however this will not count towards our season long points race which will begin again and end next Wednesday. There will be the regular weekley game and closest to the pin contests so you can look at this as another chance to get into our highly anticipated shootout. Thank you for understanding.....

Verbal Replay

You’d think that after 20 + years of hanging around golf courses I’d be a little more careful when posing the always dangerous, "so, how did you play" question. As it turns out, Blake Goulet is one of those people who insist on giving you the entire story – yes, my friends – the dreaded hole-by-hole "verbal replaying" of the round and, as an added bonus; he’s not averse to a little swing analysis just in case you had any second thoughts about killing yourself on the spot.

I would like to congratulate everyones favorite member John Klassen for cleaning up the PowerPlay event with 35 points. Mr. Klassen had his best round of the season and this format made for a perfect week for him to go on a tear.

I did notice this week that the beat the pro bets were minimal at best with the introduction of Colin "The Sloth" Murray to Orchard #6. Are you really scared of a man that had to pull out of the Canadian Tour Qualifier because they wouldnt let him take a cart? I thought this was a mens league.......
