Welcome to the 2012 Sawmill Creek Men's League....

The teams have been drafted and the battle lines have been drawn.  

League Play will officially begin this coming Wednesday.  The tee's are blocked off for male member's of the club and their guests from 1pm to 6pm every Wednesday, you must call the proshop to make your tee times durning those spots. 

A REFRESHER - Team scores will consist of the 2 low gross scores and 4 low net scores from the 12 team members.  You may play ahead as many times as you wish but if you don't play on a Wednesday you are ineligible for individual prizes and you cannot compete in the skins and ctp games.

SKINS - There will be an optional $5 skins game open only to league players each week.  $4 will go to skins using gross scores broken down into 3 flights below, and $1 will go toward a league wide 50/50 draw each week with proceeds going to Junior Golf.  Skins will be based on gross scores using league handicaps broken down as follows : 1. 0-5 handicap 2. 6-9 handicap 3. 10+ handicap. 

CLOSEST TO THE PIN - Each week there will be a closest to the pin game using the same flight breakdowns as skins.  Only league players are eligible for CTP's.  CTP prizes will be a pitcher of Molson domestic draught beer and can only be used on league Wednesdays.  There is no cost for CTP game, Molson's has generously sponsored our league.

TEAM SHIRTS - Each player will receive a team shirt each with distinct team colours.  You are encouraged to wear your shirt on Wednesdays so that all the other players know when and with whom to cough during backswings, walk through putting lines, and ensure their shadow distracts you as much as possible.  The shirts are away being embroidered and will be available for pickup in the proshop hopefully by May 23rd....if not they will be available by May 30th.
