With team 9 losing their matches the last 2 weeks, team 7 now has a 26 point lead. Luckily for team 9 they have to play against team 7 next wednesday giving them a chance to take the 10 points and narrow the lead. They will need all the participation points they can get to catch them. | 0 Comments Sep 6, 2007 | Posted by Mens Day CommitteeDid everyone go back to school? So where did everyone go, back to school? Our slowest night yet as only 90 players played and a number of teams were unable to reach the required minimum of 6 players. What are they Sore Losers!! I guess team 7 has it in the bag!! We are recruiting for Team Captains! If you wish to be a captain for next year to please submit your name to the proshop ( there is a sheet to fill out). We are going to announce the captains at our Closing men's day dinner October 17th. If you so choose, you can nominate an individual you feel would best fit the spot. My personal nomination would be a Mr. Paul Flack. We all know if you were on his team you wouldn't dare not show. Last night was yet another loud one on the patio with a chanting roar......Jimmy Jimmmy!!! A story that is kept behind closed doors. This same group will also be the committee as we will be trying some new things for next year! Perhaps a playoff format for Sept, a sign up fee with an opening Dinner in the spring, or having an "NHL DRAFT NIGHT" that will be done early in the year by the new captains. There will be plenty of things for the commitee to discuss. This next statement is not to be taken as a rude one BUT get your butts out and play the last two weeks!!! You never know, we just might have some interesting prizes to be one. See you all next week.

| 0 Comments Aug 30, 2007 | Posted by Mens Day CommitteeCan anyone Catch Team 7Team 7 continues to lead the overall standings with only 3 weeks to play. With a lead of 4 points over team 9 it could be hard to catch them. Team 7 continually gets 10-12 players every week, showing just how important particpation points are. Hopefully team 9 will continue to roll and give them a run over the next 3 weeks. Weekly Winners 214 - Team 8 - $26 Jim Peeples - Net 30 - $50 Brad Larente - Gross 34 - $50 Closest to the pin - David Popowich - $50 See everyone next week!
