Hello Ladies,

I first want to apologize for not getting the blog up last week.  I had it all typed and ready to go, just forgot one thing.... to hit "add," oops! Of course it got deleted so I will try to remember who won what last week as well as include this weeks winners and a note from the social committee.

LAST WEEK:

Last weeks round was quite unique in the sense that we were only able to use 4 clubs.  I chose my driver, seven, sand and putter.  There were several combinations that I heard about while speaking to you ladies on the patio and on the course that i think were way better than mine.

Jenn Braid had an outstanding round last week with just four clubs, winning low gross.  Jenn actually played so well, she continued with just those clubs on the front nine!

Three additional winners that I can remember from last week were Michelle Loucks and Kim Westaway who were the winners of the secret holes.  Nanette Jozwiak was the winner of a questionable looking prize as well for closest to the pin. 

Please help me out for the following winners: low net, low gross and furthest drive? I'm sorry but I just can't remember.

THIS WEEK:

HAPPY CANADA DAY!  It was great to see our spirited ladies all decked out in red last night, including Dorra Crawford who actually had her toenails painted with Canada flags! Molson Canadian 67 beer samples on the patio were an excellent way to celebrate Canada as well. Thanks Chris F.

Winners this week were Lisa Schneider with low net, Nanette Jozwiak with low gross, me (Gil Fusco) with closest to the pin on 5, and no Amy I didn't 3 put!!!  The two secret hole winners were Susanne Bates and Lee Murray. 

PAY OUTS:

Payouts will be put onto your shop credit if you are low net or low gross.  Each week, the winners will be different as each lady can only win once. 

SOCIAL COMMITTEE:

The Ladies Social Committee at Whistle Bear have come up with some great ideas for ladies to meet socially at the course, not necessarily to golf.  Ideas that have been formed so far include; Belly Dancing, Poker and Cooking with a Chef.  Comments, suggestions and any other ideas are greatly appreciated.  In order to improve, feedback is a must! The suggestion box is located under the scoring computer in the pro shop or you can speak with any of the following ladies who will be happy to listen to any ideas:  Jennifer Bloom (Braid), Mardi Cantin, Carol Haggerman, Michelle Loucks and Suzanne Bates.
