Welcome to the Sean & Kate Real Estate Team Men's League 2013 Season

2013 Amherstview Men's Golf League Wrap-up

Sep 23, 2013 | Posted by Jim Laidley - The Commish

Well the final accounting of the league account took a little longer than expected, but the good news is that the better than expected turnout of playres means there were a few more dollars available than I thought there would be. So I get to sweeten the winners pots a bit AND give out Commissioner's Choice awards.

All winnings have been posted to the Money List and can be spent LOTS of ways, but must be used by October 31.

Prize money account credits can be used for:

1. Pro shop purchases

2. The snack bar or lounge

  • league members can use their prize money credits in these areas prior to the end of the season.
  • For example, year end banquets and closing days beverages may be purchased

3. For this year2014 Memberships can be purchased prior to the end of October using your prize money credits.  A $50 early joining discount will be offered.  So you can pay for your membership using your prize money credits, plus receive a $50 discount as long as this entire transaction is completed prior to October 31.  Membership is $1300 - $50 discount - prize money credit = balance paid by Oct 31st.

My thanks to Carolyn and Joe for expanding options to use credits WELL beyond pro shop purchases (which is the norm for most leagues).

The Winning Teams

WINNER OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION AND LEAGUE CHAMPS:  BLOOD SWEAT & BEERS CHAMPIONSHIP $900

CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISIONSECOND PLACE: HOZZLE ROCKETZ $450

WINNER OF THE OTHER DIVISION (THIRD PLACE): PUTT HEADS $225
